egger A/I vario green+white 2x 660 gr
egger A/I vario is an addition-curing silicone impression material specially developed for the accurate and comfortable taking of ear impressions. Thanks to its soft, thixotropic consistency and platinum-cured system, the material provides excellent detail reproduction without noticeable shrinkage. It is manually mixed and injected into the ear using an impression syringe for a precise reproduction of the ear canal.

Application
egger A/I vario is used for creating accurate ear impressions when fitting custom earmolds.
Temperature plays an important role. The ideal working temperature is around 21 °C. At higher temperatures, it is recommended to store the material in a cool place to maintain impression quality.
Viscosity indicates the flowability (or thickness) of a material in its non-vulcanized state. Once the two components are mixed, the vulcanization process begins and the viscosity changes. The time between mixing and the moment the impression material is actually applied into the ear determines the accuracy of the impression.
Under the right conditions, this process results in a precise reproduction of the ear canal and concha area. However, if the material begins to vulcanize too quickly in the impression syringe, this can lead to a “swollen” ear impression.
Complies with DIN EN ISO 4823 and MDR (EU) 2017/745, Class I. Ideal for professional hearing care specialists who strive for maximum precision and reliability.
